18 hours!!!

That is how many flight hours it will take for me to get to India from Sioux Falls. The flight from Sioux Falls to Chicago is only 1 hour and 30 minutes. My next flight is from Chicago to London, which is 7 hours and 30 minutes. That isn't so bad, I've done that one before. The flight from London to Mumbai is 9 hours long. That one seems a bit excessive but I guess I don't really have a choice, unless I wanted to take a ship, which probably would mean that I would have had to leave 2 weeks ago! Well, it is a good thing that I can sleep anywhere!

I have finally started to actually make piles of things that I need to take with me. I have a huge pile of clothes laid out, which I will dwindle down to the essentials before I shove it all into my suitcase. I have started to put my shampoo and conditioner into small travel size bottles, because it saves space to put it into smaller bottles rather than lugging a huge bottle of shampoo half way around the world. More importantly, I have all my swaps finished to take with me. I'm really looking forward to collecting swaps from all over the world. I hope that I get some really cool ones.
